• Less severe bacterial infections: 25mg per each kg, received in 2 divided doses every 12 hours;
• Other cases: 45mg per each kg, received in 2 divided doses every 12 hours; • Weight ≥ 40 kg: adult dose.

What are contradictions for using Generic Augmentin?

• Liver or renal failure;
• Cirrhosis;
• Hepatitis;
• Penicillin intolerance;
• Phenylketonuria;
• Certain allergies to food or drugs.

Pregnant or breast-feeding women should also prevent themselves from using Generic Augmentin.

What are side effects of Generic Augmentin?

According to their frequency rate, adverse reactions of Generic Augmentin are:

• Diarrhea/loose stools (in 9% of cases);
• Nausea (3%);
• Vomiting (1%);
• Rare side effects (less than 1%) - bloody diarrhea, yellowing of skin, easy bruising, discolored urine, numbness, moody behavior, seizures.
